Roger is Trustee of an investment trust, Chair/Director of several charities and Chair of United Disability Care. He is a graduate of the Royal Military College Duntroon, UNSW, Cranfield University (UK) and USQ qualifications in economics, business, project management and marketing. He has wide ranging operational, leadership and business experience across Defence, the public and private sectors in finance, logistics, property, franchising and sales and marketing. He is a member of the Hope Island Rotary Club and has acted as a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) for more than 30 years.
Director
Andrew Antonopoulos provides experience and a background in practicing taxation law (both domestic and international) as well as corporate and commercial law. Through practicing in both legal and accounting firms, Andrew has a skill set that is both analytical and commercially driven. Andrew has provided advice to several property groups and understands the range of tax and legal considerations surrounding property and portfolio management. With a sound understanding of general legal principles and a specialisation in taxation and commercial law, he has a keen eye to mitigate risk and pursue appropriate opportunities when presented. After graduating with a Juris Doctor (JD) and completing his Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law (LLM), Andrew has practiced taxation law for nearly 10 years. Andrew is also President of the Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth Inc. Andrew has been on the management committee for Gold Coast Project for homeless youth for over 10 years and has been the President for more than 3, in addition to GCPHY Andrew has been involved in the establishment & governance of numerous other not for profits in Australia and Overseas.
Director & Secretary
Trina Hockley AM is an experienced, qualified non- executive director with a background in training, education, sport, employment and governance. Trina has qualifications (BHMS, GMQ, FAICD JP (Qual)), and has been honoured with a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the Australia Day Honours List in 2020.
Previously on the board of TAFE Qld, she is the past Chair and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Gold Coast committee. She is the current chair of DV Connect and is also Chair of Arcadia College, Ohana for Youth and the Ohana College, Trina is a member of the Qld Government’s Mentoring for Growth.
Trina’s volunteering has seen accolades as an Outstanding Volunteer to the Indigenous Community and has received a 20 year Leadership Award from the City of Gold Coast. She is an avid advocate for youth education and development and with a grand daughter with special needs has also seen Trina become involved within the disability sector.
