Our Support Workers are highly valued team members of our UDC family, who provide outstanding care to the people we support. We make sure that each of team members feels included and valued!
We pay our Support Workers under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS), directly in line with the NDIS cost model. However, there are many different levels to this award and your classification level will depend upon your experience, qualifications, and whether you’re a permanent or a casual worker. We understand that awards and their interpretation can sometimes be very confusing, and we encourage our workers to always understand their individual circumstances and bring any questions or concerns to their supervisor or HR and always refer to the Fair Work guidelines.
