United Disability Care will be hosting an iFLY event for people with a disability whom either live a life or independence or are wanting to live a life of independence.
In the led up to International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) we wanted to celebrate the independence achieved by people living with a disability.
Have you found ways to be independent and life a live you love? Have you broken the sigma and taken the steps to move out and live independently or in a supported living arrangement? Then we want to celebrate with you and ask that you share and impart your knowledge to others. Come on down and share your journey, or learn from those who have done it and those who can support you to do it. We are offering free tickets for the 50 second iFLY flight experience as a further gift of independence. Spots are limited so register today.
Who can fly? This is an all-inclusive activity.
There are only a few restrictions for safety: The flyer must not weigh more than115kg. The flyer must not be wearing a hard plaster cast. The flyer must not suffer from any neck, back or heart conditions. The flyer must not have previously suffered from a dislocated shoulder. Everyone else over 3 years can fly! Don't believe us? Check out the video links. It's safe, it's fun and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
