Plan management is about having a third party to communicate with your service providers and pay invoices on your behalf, keep track of your funds and the financial reporting for you.
Our Plan Manager is happy to work with your Support Coordinator to ensure your plan is correct, personalised and meets your needs that will ensure you can work towards your goals. We are able to assist you with your plan even if you do not receive support services from United Disability Care.
Your plan is reviewed annually and your Plan Manager works with your Support Coordinator. The review is to ensure the services are meeting your needs and that the allocations for services match your budget. You can request an early plan review if you feel your current plan isn’t meeting your needs.
My annual Plan review is due, can you help me even if you are not currently my Plan Manager?
Yes, I can assist you with that. You have the choice of who you want to work with at all times and can change your Plan Manager when you feel you need to. The Plan review is to ensure the services are meeting your needs and that the allocations for services match your budget. You can request an early plan review if you feel your current plan isn’t meeting your needs.

It’s a good idea to have a think about your plan management options before your NDIS planning meeting. If using a registered Plan Manager is the right option for you, simply advise the NDIS Planner, Supports Coordinator or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) of your requested option.
What is an NDIS Plan Manager?
The most basic definition of plan management calls it a ‘financial intermediary’ support. This means that all plan managers are a connection between an NDIS participant, the providers and the NDIA.
Plan management is about having a third party to communicate with your service providers and pay invoices on your behalf, keep track of your funds and the financial reporting for you. The Plan Manager then claims directly from the budgets in your plan to pay your providers on your behalf.
If you choose to be plan-managed, a Plan Manager is funded in your plan and must be an NDIS registered provider, which United Disability Care is. Ask to use a registered plan management provider at your planning meeting.
